State College PA Senior Photographer | Natalie's Romantic Castle Editorial Session
THIS session! Oh my gosh! I can't wait to tell the story of this Editorial Senior Session for this Mifflin County High School Senior! Photographed in the town of Boalsburg, PA , this session was definitely one I will remember! Meet Natalie! She is a Class of 2018 Senior at Mifflin County High School in Lewistown, PA!
I had been dreaming about this exact session ever since I took my first glace at this park in Boalsburg. From the unique stone structures that reminded me of a castle, to the tank resting in the middle of some of the tallest trees I've ever seen... I could see the story play out in front of me instantly, and I KNEW I had to bring it to life. I just needed to find a princess to complete the story.
That's when I was introduced to Natalie, and as soon as I saw her, I instantly pictured her as the one telling this story! So when she picked this theme, I was ecstatic to photograph her as she brought this one of a kind fairy tale to life.
We found the most perfect flowing pink gown that reminded me of the princess from the story I had created in my head, and Natalie completely embodied that princess! And of course, our one-woman glam squad, Courtney M. , pampered Natalie just like a real princess. She created the most romantic look, complete with shades of pink and a soft hairstyle that would blow in the breeze. Who knew you could find the scene of an old romantic castle right in Boalsburg, PA!
Like I said, the breeze was definitely fit for a princess that day! And just look at that lush golden light!! All Natalie is missing is a her crown, because I'm convinced she is a real life princess in hiding!
When I saw the light filtering through these trees, and how her dress fluttered in the warm breeze, you know there was no way I could resist capturing that motion in Natalie's images, so we did an entire set around them! (Plus, a dress with pockets?! Absolutely need a photograph of that!!)
Seriously, one of my favorite Editorial Senior Sessions to date! Boalsburg, PA will always be one of my favorite locations to photograph at! Thank you so much to Natalie of Mifflin County High School and Courtney M. for making this session unforgettable!!
